Northeast India is the easternmost region of India and is made up of eight states Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura. The region is also known as "The Seven Sisters". Sikkim is sometimes referred to as the "Brother" to the seven states.
